"I know you’re not just here to look at photos.
You’re here to see if I’m the right fit for you."
So before we go any further, here’s a little more about the eye behind the lens...
I didn’t grow up with a camera glued to my hand or anything like that.
I just picked one up one day, got into it, and it kind of spiralled from there.
Before photography really took over, I was doing the usual... night shifts stacking shelves, working in a petrol shop, volunteering in a charity shop… even scare acting at Alton Towers for Scarefest, thrown into the Compound maze for a couple of months. It was a mix, but all of it taught me something... mostly how to deal with people, chaos, and unpredictable situations. Oh, and patience. Lots of patience.
Somewhere in the middle of all that, I started taking photos seriously.
I began with mates, cars, random events. Basically whatever was in front of me.
Some of it was awful, some of it wasn’t. That’s how learning goes.
Fast forward a bit and it’s turned into RavenView... events, portraits, behind-the-scenes… a bit of everything. I’d get bored doing just one thing anyway. Variety keeps it interesting, and it keeps me sharp.
I’m not here to make you stand awkwardly while I pretend it’s “natural.”
Most people hate being in front of a camera... fair enough. So I keep it relaxed, blend in, and capture what’s actually happening. No staged poses, no overthinking, no “look at me awkwardly smiling.” Just photos that actually look like you, and maybe even make you look a bit cooler than reality.
At the end of the day, my goal is simple:
You get photos you actually like, with a calm, relaxed experience, and a photographer who knows how to make things work, even if the chaos of life is involved.
