A club for everyone.
Despite the name, EHVC is about far more than historic vehicles.
Our members come from all backgrounds and own a huge variety of vehicles, from veteran and classic cars through to modern classics, motorcycles, commercial vehicles and everyday enthusiast cars.
What brings us together isn't the age of a vehicle. It's the enthusiasm behind it.
Built Around People...
At its core, EHVC is a community. It’s built on friendships, shared knowledge, and a long-standing culture of welcoming new faces into the fold.
Many members attend not just for the vehicles, but for the people they meet and the connections they build along the way. Whether it’s a monthly meeting, a roadside chat during a run, or helping someone solve a mechanical problem, the club thrives on that shared support.
It’s this sense of belonging that has kept EHVC active and growing for over five decades.
Events All Year Round
EHVC hosts and participates in a wide range of events throughout the year, giving members plenty of opportunities to get involved in whatever way suits them best.
From monthly club evenings and informal meetups to organised road runs and public displays, there is always something happening. Members are encouraged to take part at their own pace, whether that’s actively displaying a vehicle or simply attending and enjoying the atmosphere.
Each event is designed to be relaxed, welcoming, and accessible to both long-standing members and newcomers.
Festival Of Transport
The Festival of Transport is one of the South East’s most established and well-attended motoring events, attracting exhibitors and visitors from across the country.
Organised by EHVC, the event showcases an incredibly diverse range of vehicles, from historic machines and classics through to modern enthusiast cars, motorcycles, commercials, and specialist transport.
It also plays an important role in supporting local charities and bringing the wider community together.
More than just a vehicle display, it has become a major annual event in the region’s calendar.
The Future Of The Hobby
EHVC continues to evolve alongside the changing motoring landscape, welcoming new generations of enthusiasts into the community.
Modern classics, enthusiast daily drivers, first projects, and long-term restorations all sit comfortably alongside traditional historic vehicles. The focus is on inclusion, not restriction, ensuring anyone with an interest in vehicles feels able to take part.
By encouraging younger members and new enthusiasts, the club helps ensure that the passion for motoring continues well into the future.
